Enjoy the beach web cam views on the Isle of Wight from the Driftwood Beachbar ‘n’ Grill
The Driftwood Beachbar ‘n’ Grill is the only licensed bar on the beach on the Isle of Wight, serving food and drinks all day, in the bar, on the patios and right on beach.
Located right on the beach in Sandown, the bar offers superb views of Sandown Bay, Shanklin, Luccombe Chine, the English Channel, Yaverland and Culver Cliffs.
Owner, Sean Ware, has been operating the site for over 20 years. Two years ago he demolished the old tea rooms to make way for the Driftwood Beachbar ‘n’ Grill. When asked about how the new venture was going, he replied “Life’s a beach”.

have jusy come back from shanklin. although most of britain is scenic you cannot beat the isle of wight. i feel as if i have come home when i am here. gonna aim to buy a holiday home as soon as practicable and move here permanaent one day.no where else has such beauty.

i first came from australia to the island to visit a dear friend in 2008 it totally fell in love with its beauty history and loveliness - i too wish to live there someday - it is the worlds best kept secret - an idyllic island indeed
