I live in South Texas and my daughter is presently living 4900.98 miles (if Google Earth can be trusted) away in Aberdeen. I calculate that this Webcam is 0.85 miles from her house, and it helps me to get an idea as to the weather and daylight conditions in an area of the world that is 6 hours ahead of my local time. I try to view this site at least once a day, as it makes me feel closer to my kid.
