Enjoy a number of webcam views of stunning seascapes and landscapes from one of Scotland’s most popular holiday resorts, Oban, ’The Gateway to the Western Isles in Scotland’. Oban, is the unofficial capital of the West Highlands in Scotland, and is visited by tourists from around the world who want to see at first hand Scotland’s stunning scenery at its best. If you’re visiting Scotland on a forthcoming vacation, make sure Oban is placed high on your holiday itinerary. Definitely worth visiting.
The views from this scenic camera, courtesy of Oban and Lorn Tourism Association overlook the Oban Bay, where beyond lie the islands of the Inner Hebrides: Kerrera, which protects the town from Atlantic storms, the low, green island of Lismore, majestic Mull and the granite mountains of the Morvern peninsula. Beyond them, the sacred island of Iona, Coll, Colonsay and Tiree. Watch out for views of the Caledonian MacBrayne Car ferries, Scotland’s largest ferry operator, going in and out of the Oban Bay on its way to the isles of Mull, Coll, Tiree, Barra, South Uist, Colonsay, Lismore and Islay.
